A critical care hospital is also sometimes referred to as a long-term acute care hospital (or LTACH). Patients at these facilities are often staying for several weeks and have a high acuity level.

At Vibra Travels, we staff acute medical rehabilitation hospitals, critical care (or long-term acute care) hospitals, short-term acute care hospitals, and behavioral health.

Currently, we staff RNs and LPNs, as well as respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.

While we love staffing Vibra hospitals, we also serve clients across the country in various levels of care.

At Vibra Travels, our clients include a variety of hospital systems across the country.

While we focus on full-time travel opportunities, we are open to PRN and have staffed many across the country.

Sometimes, minimum years of experience can vary by client. We require at least one year of experience to travel with Vibra Travels.

When you sign with Vibra Travels, your rates will remain the same throughout your contract.

If you are interested in traveling with Vibra Travels while remaining at your current facility, you must first speak with your supervisor. If approved, you may stay on PRN at your current location while traveling with Vibra Travels.

Sometimes, distance requirements vary from client to client. Generally speaking, we do hire local travelers.

No, current employees cannot convert to a traveler for their home base hospital. You may be able to remain PRN at your current hospital and travel to a different hospital, either within the Vibra Healthcare network or externally.

Yes, all travelers have to have their ACLS and BLS through the American Heart Association prior to travel.

If you currently hold a single-state license and are interested in traveling out-of-state, Vibra Travels can help you acquire the appropriate license for the state you are traveling to and reimburse you at the completion of your assignment.

Vibra Travels works quickly to get travelers in the door for our clients. It typically takes clinicians two to three weeks to complete onboarding and begin their placements.

Our compensation is dependent upon years of experience and the region to which you are traveling. Our pay is made up of an hourly wage and a stipend. These factors are determined on a contract-by-contract basis.
