What is a critical care hospital?
A critical care hospital is also sometimes referred to as a long-term acute care hospital (or LTACH). Patients at these facilities are often staying for several weeks and have a high acuity level.
What types of facilities do you staff?
At Vibra Travels, we staff acute medical rehabilitation hospitals, critical care (or long-term acute care) hospitals, short-term acute care hospitals, and behavioral health.
What positions do you staff?
Currently, we staff RNs and LPNs, as well as respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists.
What states do you currently staff?
While our openings and client needs are always changing, we have opportunities across the country.

Do you pay weekly?
Staff are paid bi-weekly.
Do you only staff Vibra hospitals?
While we love staffing Vibra hospitals, we also serve clients across the country in various levels of care.
What clients do you staff?
At Vibra Travels, our clients include a variety of hospital systems across the country.
Do you have PRN positions?
While we focus on full-time travel opportunities, we are open to PRN and have staffed many across the country.
What is the minimum requirement for experience?
Sometimes, minimum years of experience can vary by client. We require at least one year of experience to travel with Vibra Travels.
Will you lower rates during my assignment?
When you sign with Vibra Travels, your rates will remain the same throughout your contract.
I currently work at one of your locations, but would also like to travel. Is that possible?
If you are interested in traveling with Vibra Travels while remaining at your current facility, you must first speak with your supervisor. If approved, you may stay on PRN at your current location while traveling with Vibra Travels.
If I live near a hospital, can I be a traveler for that hospital?
Sometimes, distance requirements vary from client to client. Generally speaking, we do hire local travelers.
If I currently work at one your hospitals, can I travel to that hospital?
No, current employees cannot convert to a traveler for their home base hospital. You may be able to remain PRN at your current hospital and travel to a different hospital, either within the Vibra Healthcare network or externally.
Do you need an approved vendor for ACLS and BLS Certifications?
Yes, all travelers have to have their ACLS and BLS through the American Heart Association prior to travel.
Can you help me with licensure for a state I don’t live in?
If you currently hold a single-state license and are interested in traveling out-of-state, Vibra Travels can help you acquire the appropriate license for the state you are traveling to and reimburse you at the completion of your assignment.
How quickly can I start my assignment?
Vibra Travels works quickly to get travelers in the door for our clients. It typically takes clinicians two to three weeks to complete onboarding and begin their placements.

How much do you pay?
Our compensation is dependent upon years of experience and the region to which you are traveling. Our pay is made up of an hourly wage and a stipend. These factors are determined on a contract-by-contract basis.
