Boise River Greenbelt
It’s hard to go to Boise without finding a beautiful hiking path, but this is the best of the best in the area. The Boise River Greenbelt boasts over 25 miles of scenic paths for biking, hiking, and jogging. If exercise isn’t your thing, the river is also a great spot for bird watching, fishing, or just enjoying the scenery from one of the many available benches.

Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area
It’s just as crazy as it sounds…this place has ALL the cool activities. Snowboard or ski down the mountains in the winter, or enjoy 4,333 feet of roller coasters through beautiful mountains in the summer! In the evenings, catch some live music while enjoying your activities, too.
