As Tax Season approaches, we’ll also provide helpful prep tips for organizing your documents and maximizing deductions. We’ll also highlight opportunities to grow our new Permanent Staffing Division and welcome client referrals.
Lastly, don’t miss this month’s Wellness Corner for a quick and festive recipe to keep you healthy and energized while on the road. A special thank you goes out to our home office team for hosting our first-ever annual meeting in December. Your hard work and dedication made it a resounding success!
Thank you for being such an essential part of Vibra Travels. Let’s continue to support one another and make this February a month to remember!
Warm regards,

HUGE CONGRATS TO OUR:
TRAVELER OF THE YEAR!
We are thrilled to recognize Shamekia as our Traveler of the Year for 2024! 🌟 Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to excellence truly set her apart. Here’s what she had to share about her travel nursing journey:
💙 Favorite Travel Destination:
“Southern Kentucky Rehab is by far my favorite travel destination. The night shift team there feels like family, and I’ve met so many knowledgeable and caring nurses. The Western Kentucky community is diverse and welcoming. Bowling Green is as Southern as you get—I love it! Honorable mention goes to Vibra Hospital of Charleston in Mount Pleasant, SC—my first travel assignment and a place that holds a special spot in my heart.”
🏆 What This Award Means to Me:
“I was so surprised to receive this award! I’ve worked in the medical field for 24 years, starting as a CNA, then an LPN, and later earning my RN, BSN. Over the years, I’ve received many thank-yous from patients and colleagues, but this is my first award in 14 years of nursing. It means everything to me—it’s a symbol of my hard work and dedication. While I don’t look for a pat on the back at the end of every shift, it feels amazing to be recognized.”
✨ Why Vibra Travels?
“Vibra was my first travel assignment, and I had no idea how to get started. I applied for a job in Nashville, but my recruiter, Kelly, informed me there wasn’t a Vibra hospital there. She encouraged me to take a leap of faith—and I did! My first assignment was in Charleston, and the rest is history. The onboarding process was smooth, the support was incredible, and I’ve stayed because of the competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities. Vibra Travels feels like home.”
We are so proud to have Shamekia as part of our Vibra Travels family. Her story is an inspiration, and we can’t wait to see where her journey takes her next!
